After considering all of our options, we determined which one to introduce based on a few key dermatologist-recommended criteria: fit, water content, material, and price.

What to look for in contact lenses for dry eyes
oxygen permeability
Contact lenses cover the cornea of the eye, which can contribute to discomfort if your eyes tend to be drier than average. However, contact lenses that have high oxygen diffusion allow more oxygen to reach the cornea.
“The most important factor to consider is the permeability of the contact lens [or the Dk/t measure],” he says.Dra. Yuna Rapoport, director of the Manhattan Eye in New York City. "This takes into account the material of the contact lens as well as the thickness of the lens [and] directly reflects the oxygen permeability of the contact itself."
